Dane Jackson
Dane is one of the most accomplished whitewater kayakers in the world. I got to know Dane when he was just a little guy on kayak tour with his parents, and before we knew it he was entering the Men's class and giving us all a run for our money!
Now he's got multiple 100 ft+ waterfall descents to his name, 3 World Championship titles, 3 Grand Prix Championship titles and many more. Most recently Dane won the prestigious Green Race by an incredible 8-second margin. What's most impressive about Dane as an athlete is that he excels and wins on multiple fronts in kayaking- creeking, freestyle, racing and expeditions.
Plus he's just a nice guy and fun to be around.
